Jane Bloch is the Principal of Tusculum Consulting. For nearly twenty years she has worked with foundations and advocacy organizations on philanthropic strategy, grantmaking, program evaluation, organizational planning, and policy advocacy across clean energy and environmental issues.
Prior to founding Tusculum Consulting, Jane served as Program Officer at the Skoll Global Threats Fund, where she managed grant portfolios across multiple issue areas including evidence-based advocacy, field research and experimentation, risk communication, and public engagement. Before that she spent six years at the Energy Foundation working with diverse stakeholders — including business groups, local governments, communities of faith, medical professionals, labor unions, and environmental groups — to promote caps on greenhouse gas emissions.
Jane has a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Washington. Outside of consulting, Jane is an advocate for children in foster care.
